Imagine waking up in the morning in Rekawa, Sri Lanka, to the sound of birds chirping through your window, the smell of the ocean wafting through your room, and the sight of the Indian Ocean. And only two hours drive from our tropical fishing village, lies Yala National Park. We can arrange a safari for our guests, taking them to see wild elephants, buffalos and maybe even a leopard. Bring your camera and our picnic basket, and spend the day in pure wildlife.
The infamous picnic basket will travel with you and can be enjoyed in the car or before you begin your safari – it is not allowed to bring food inside the National Park. Once you have arrived by the gates of Yala National Park, you will switch vehicles, an open top jeep safari will take you inside the park. Here we respectfully advise our guests to tell the driver not to chase to see leopards, but perhaps to seek out other beautiful parts of the park – but in the end, that is completely up to you.
It won't matter what rare animals you see at Yala National Park, the trip is guaranteed to astonish you.
